At 258g the multi-award winning Inertia X Frame is the world's lightest, most compact, and most advanced full length camping pad available. Designed with body mapping research, it gives you support and comfort in all the key pressure zones, while eliminating unnecessary material to reduce weight and pack size and at only the size of an Irn Bru can when rolled up could be just the thing to have with you on those longish climbs when a bivi shouldn't happen but might!
Ideal for 3 season use when used by itself, the Inertia X Frame rolls up to the size of a drink can, and takes only a 2-4 breaths to inflate. It can be even further inflated by use of the Dry Air Pump, which allows you to reach higher pressures than ordinary mouth-inflate pads. The cut out regions of the pad not only reduce the pad's bulk and weight, but is the basis for Klymit's patent pending loft pocket technology. Loft pockets allow the insulation on the bottom of sleeping bags to maintain loft and warmth beneath your body, where it would normally be compacted and useless, while promoting breathability. Thus the pad is best used inside the sleeping bag.
Built with ripstop 30d top and coated 75d bottom, the Inertia X Frame is also one of the toughest pads on the market with a burst pressure of over 10 psi.
Includes: Dry Air Pump, Stuff Sack and Patch Kit.
Measures 15cm x 9cm Ø in stuff sack, 183 x 45.5cm when inflated.
Weighs: 258g on its own. 262g with stuff sack. 300g with stuff sack and pump. Lighter than a closed cell foam mat!
NB The Inertia X Frame does not currently claim an R value as it uses the existing insulation inside your sleeping bag with "Loft Pockets" to keep you warm and comfy to whatever temperature your sleeping bag is rated. However it has been tested in some of the most extreme conditions with surprising warmth and comfort.
