A superb lightweight but water-resistant and super durable duffel bag which will swallow copious amounts of gear. It has removable rucksack style shoulder straps as well as grab handles and end handles/haul loops to boot. The shoulder straps can be stowed inside the bag to avoid them getting caught in airport conveyer belts.
Made of waterproof fabric and equipped with water-resistant zippers and seams, it will protect your gear from rain and rough handling. Its U-shaped lid allows quick access to the main compartment, while two zipped internal mesh pockets keep small items organized. The padded bottom panel adds structure and helps cushion the load when it gets chucked off the top of a rocket bus. Four daisy chains let you lash additional gear to the outside and a zipped exterior pocket holds the stuff you need to access quickly. Adding the shoulder straps turns it into a ready-made porter load.
Made from 14.7-oz 1,200-denier polyester (50% solution dyed) with a TPU film laminate and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.
