Black Diamond - Apollo Lantern

Apollo Lantern A bright, non-glaring, baked bean can sized camping lantern with foldable legs and hanging loop. Perfect for camping and expedition basecamp use, for cooking, reading and playing that never-ending chess tournament.

The plastic frosted globe combined with an inset 3-watt LED eliminates glare while the dual reflectors capture and maximize light output, giving enough illumination to brightly light up a four-person tent. A dimming switch provides adjustable brightness.

Compacts down to 13cm in length and extends to 17cm in use with the folding legs adding a further 8cm if required. It is just under 8cm in diameter and weighs 282g with batteries inserted.

The lantern runs on 4 AA alkaline batteries or, better, Black Diamond’s NRG Rechargeable Battery Kit (see below), and has a handy battery power indicator with green, yellow or red LEDs that display either the amount of battery power left or the charging status of the NRG.
