Trillium Stove Base Super little folding stove base fits all MSR stoves (although fitting it to the new XGK EX takes a bit of puzzling out!). Gives extra stability especially on snow. 80g.

Top Tip: When camping on snow take a small piece of threeply plywood (about a foot square or just a bit larger) and use this as a stove base. It will stop your stove melting into the snow and makes a useful place to store matches, half-used teabags etc.

The XGK was an early model of this stove. The XGKII is a more recent, shaker-jet, model. Both the XGK and the XGKII had a rigid steel fuel line.

The XGK Expedition (EX) is the most recent model and features the GK Jet. It has a flexible fuel line.

MSR - XGK Priming Pad (msr 419223)

Replacing these looks impossible at first, but is actually straightforward:
1) Remove the Pan support wires.
2) Unscrew slightly the little screw and nut just to the right of where the fuel pipe goes into the stove housing. Slide it out rightwards.
3) Grab the fuel pipe and twist it firmly to the right (forcing the loop in it past the pan wire holder crimp if need be), and the stove body can then be lifted out of the housing and the pad replaced.

MSR - Pump Plunger

Pump Plunger The plunger is the whole plunger unit including washer, complete with a new one piece collar that holds it into the stove. Most people who replace this do so because they have an old style two part collar which has an annoying habit of falling to bits now and then. The plungers are common to all stoves, ie a Dragonfly, XGK, and Whisperlite of the same vintage take the same plunger.

There are four types of replacement plunger - it is important to get the correct one as they are not interchangable. They are:
Duraseal: The new pump introduced in 2004 (418809)
Flanged: This was standard from 2002 - 2003 (318638) - originally this had a leather washer but recent examples have had rubber ones.
Original: This fits all stoves made prior to 2002. It has no flanges but does have a collar. It is red in colour. Sorry - no longer available.
Really Old: This is as per the Original but has no collar (ie you need to have not lost the two part collar) and fits all stoves made prior to 2002. It has no flanges and is black in colour.

If your pumped has failed/broken under normal use it should be replaced FOC by the distributor First Ascent. Contact them or the shop you bought it from.
