Top tip! Tough plastic carrier bags make well tried and tested snow anchors - simply fill the bag with snow, attach the guy to the handle, or better still, tie it around the bag, and bury the bag in a hole in the snow. Light, expendable, and very cheap (if not free!).

2.5mm diameter (approx) polyester/polypropylene low stretch cord suitable for tent guy lines and many other uses. White or Black (buy white if you don't want to trip over it in the dark, black if you're being sent on covert operations).

Lightweight (150g/m2), soft foam ground sheet for extra comfort and protection of the groundsheet against damage and dampness. Waterproof and rot proof. Strong 3mm thick physically cross-linked closed cell Alveolit foam structure. Tested in many Antartic and other expedititons, but also ideal for car-based camping where hard campsites together with stones, bits of glass and old ringpulls can wreak serious havoc with your groundsheet.
Dimensions: 1.5m x 3mm and comes in 10m rolls but we will cut this to measure. 1.5 metres is the width of most mountain tents so work out the length that you want in metres (to go under the tent and maybe bell ends too) and order this quantity.
NB Priced by the metre length, by 1½ metres wide. Unfortunately due to uit's dimensions it has to be posted by carrier which is rather expensive so we have had to add a postage charge of £5 to each order - please note that if you order say 4 metres it will show 4 carriage charges but you will only get charged once.
Weight: very light - but bulky!
