AR stands for All Around. A versatile extremely lightweight adjustable legloop women's specific harness for sport, trad, alpine, mixed or ice climbing.

A very comfortable harness that is made to specifically fit women who climb rock, ice and alpine routes. Adjustable leg loops allow for a precise fit that can be tailored to suit your layers or lack of them. The longer belay loop accommodates a women's differential between waist and leg loops. Arc'teryx Warp Strength Technology™* equally distributes weight across the belt for enduring comfort. Burly™ Double Weave material is strong and flexible, laminated elastic webbing in the adjustable leg loops extends its life and the easy access drop legs allow for loo stops without taking the harness off. The waistband is constructed with a softer edge to eliminate cutting and binding.

  • Women's specific fit.
  • WST™ (Warp Strength Technology) load is evenly supported across entire harness structure.
  • Wear safety markers on belay loop and tie-in points.
  • Four ice clipper slots.
  • Self locking buckles.
  • Stainless steel quick hook on the rear leg elastic permits using the bathroom without taking off your harness.
  • Four gear loops plus rear haul loop/extra gear loop.
  • Adjustable leg loops enable a precision fit with varying layers.
  • Stretchy mesh storage bag.

Materials: Burly™ Double Weave four-way stretch fabric, 7075 T6 aluminium anodized buckle, Type 66 nylon webbing, Polyurethane gear loops.

Weight (approx): 385g.

*Warp Strength Technology™ Advantage: WST™ differs from traditional harness construction in that the load is evenly distributed across the entire width of the harness structure rather than loading a single, narrow strip of webbing in the centre or running edge binding, both of which tend to concentrate the pressure of the harness making them less comfortable.

NB Supply of Arcteryx harnesses is quite slow - when we run out there can be several months to wait for new stock. We have decided not to take back orders for this reason.
