The Montane Pac Plus waterproof jacket is designed for mountain walking and long-distance trekking alike. Providing excellent protection against the elements, this Gore-tex Paclite jacket is extremely waterproof, windproof and highly durable for something so light. But what makes this lightweight jacket essential for serious walkers, is its ability to pack down small in your rucksack.

  • Mid-height collar for weather protection when needed.
  • Fully adjustable hood with stiffened peak.
  • Shaped cuffs with adjustable hook and loop tabs.
  • Full-length YKK Aquaguard® front zip with internal storm flap.
  • Two mesh-lined map-sized hand pockets with YKK Aquaguard® zips.
  • Stuffs away into own hand pocket.

Material: 30 Denier Gore-tex Paclite® Plus nylon face, 100% ePTFE laminate waterproof fabric, Hydrostatic head/air permeability 28,000mm HH, RET (breathability) <9.

RET The breathability of waterproof fabric is designated by its Thermal Evaporative Resistance (RET) coefficient. This measures the ability of a fabric to stop water vapour passing through it, the lower this resistance the more breathable the fabric is.
< 6 Extremely breathable, suitable for the most intense physical activity.
6 - 12 Very breathable, suitable for reasonable physical activity.
12 - 20 Moderately breathable, not really suitable for physical activity.
> 20 Not very breathable, not at all suitable for physical activity.
