The Phantom 6000 gives a good combination of lightness and technical ability on the mid height peaks of the Greater Ranges and in the cold environments of Alaska and Patagonia. It is suitable for winter alpinism at high altitude up to 6500m, ice falls and classic alpinism.
- The Phantom 6000 is a double boot with a Microtech upper and gaiter.
- The inner boot is made with a Primaloft lining and a 4mm thermoisolated EVA midsole.
- The gaiter is made of three different materials, elastic S-Tech on the pressure points on the foot instep and in the backward area, an internal area made of Super-Fabric and external part made of Nylon and Kevlar.
- The gaiter has an OutDry breathable membrane, laminated directly on the internal surface.
- It also features Scarpa's new spiral gaiter zip which is more comfortable to wear.
- The complete combination is very light for a double boot of this warmth at under 2kg a pair (for size 42).
