UK Priority Delivery Services: Express postage services can be selected at checkout. Your order will jump to the front of the queue and we will send your parcel the same day if you order before 2pm on a weekday for DPD services, and before 3pm for Royal Mail priority services. Parcels will be sent by the listed carrier for the service selected. NB Our Priority Services are not available to all UK postcodes; exceptions include the Scottish Highlands and all UK islands. You will be offered services appropriate to your postcode at checkout.

DPD: Select one of these Priority services and DPD will notify you of your one-hour delivery window by SMS/email. You can track the progress of your parcel using the DPD app which shows parcel progress on a real-time map, all the way down to a final 15-minute time slot.

DPD will also offer you rescheduling options, both the night before and on the day, so you can select an alternative delivery date, deliver to a nominated neighbour, leave the parcel in a safe place, collect your parcel from your local DPD depot or participating DPD Pickup shop, or upgrade to delivery before 12:00.

Will someone need to sign for my parcel? Most standard service parcels will not need a signature on delivery, although some parcels, which are larger or of higher value may need one. Parcels sent by Priority services will definitely need a signature on delivery. However, the driver may leave your parcel without a signature upon your request, and although we are happy to add instructions to an unsigned for parcel as to where it should be left, we cannot guarantee that these instructions will be followed. You can add instructions during checkout such as "If out, leave in porch" for example. But please note that if you request that a parcel be left anywhere where it will not be signed for, and the carrier claims that they followed your instructions, and the parcel has subsequently disappeared, then that is your loss, not ours.

Alternative Delivery Address: When you pay, we need you to use the address that your payment method is registered to but you will have the opportunity to add an alternative delivery address at checkout.

Yes - There are two options:

1. Your parcel can be delivered your nearest 'DPD Pickup' shop. Simply choose one of our DPD services for delivery and then divert your parcel whilst in transit using your DPD Predict email or SMS. You can find your local DPD Pickup shop hereDiverting your parcel in transit will usually add an extra day to the delivery time.

2. Collect from us at Needle Sports in Keswick. You can select to collect instore at checkout and there is no delivery charge. Orders can be ready in an hour or two but, if you are aiming to arrive sooner, then let us know and we will try to accommodate this. Select Click & Collect at checkout, enter your postcode and click on the Needle Sports pin at the centre of the map.

  • Order online, select ’Collect from Needle Sports’ as your delivery service.
  • Staff will be here 09:00-17:30 every day and will need around 20 minutes to prepare your order.
  • You’ll receive an automated email when your order is processed and ready to pick up.

Returns and Refunds You are welcome to return any unwanted items from your order to arrive here within 30 days after you have received them. All items must be unused, in a brand new, clean condition with labels attached. All payments are refunded in GBP so please be aware that the exchange rate since purchase may have changed. This means that your refund amount could be more or less than your original purchase amount. For all non-UK orders, you are responsible for paying postage costs to return any item, even if that item is faulty. We will not be able to refund any taxes or fees that you paid on original import of the goods. Ukraine We are not currently accepting orders, as deliveries by our carriers have been suspended.

Those stationed outside the UK may be able to claim a VAT refund from us. If your location is eligible please;

Email us immediately after making your order to confirm that your BFPO address is eligible, and ask for a VAT refund.
We will refund the VAT when processing your order.

You may be familiar with our shop in Keswick - all our mail orders are sent from here. We keep as much stock as space allows and restock regularly. If an item is out of stock it is probably already on order from our suppliers.

Most items on our website are available to back order - ie you can order it even if we don't have it in stock.

For some items where there is likely to be a long delay, we do not allow back order. If you are interested in any of these items, you can request an automatic email be sent to you when it comes back into stock - just click the button next to the item and fill in your email address.

Occasionally we offer an item for sale as a 'pre-order'. This would be for a new item that is due to arrive imminently - a much anticipated new book for example. If you make a pre-order your order will be posted as soon as the item arrives.

If we receive an order where one or more items are out of stock and there is a delay of more than a few days we will email to discuss options. We may send in stock items initially and out of stock items to follow or we may send everything together when in stock. We will treat each order on a case by case basis. For international orders we will send everything together. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need to.

We will do our very best to get your parcel to you as expected. If you are out, carriers may leave a card for you to collect the parcel or call them to re-arrange delivery. If a parcel comes back to us due to failed delivery you will be responsible for the cost of re-sending the parcel.
