With large coverage, removable shields, 360° adjustable temples and high protection lenses, these glacier glasses are designed for extreme conditions without compromise.

This model has a fixed Category 4 Spectron Polycarbonate Lens - suitable for alpine and greater ranges use at all altitudes. They are too dark for general day to day use, driving a car etc.

  • Nose Grip: Flexible, shock-absorbing grip insert on the bridge.
  • 360° adjustable temples: The ends of the temples can be moved in all directions. Under a helmet, over a hat or on the head, the frames are held in place.
  • Adjustable cord: Hold and security. The cord length can be changed with the adjustment loop.
  • Front Venting: Natural front venting of air created by the lens shape.
  • Grip Tech: Exclusive soft-comfort material on the temples that doesn't stick to hair, giving perfect grip and comfort
  • Panoramic view: Wide lens surface for maximum field of vision.
  • Removable side shields: Side protection from sunlight.
  • Total Cover: Maximum protection from sunlight in extreme conditions.
This model comes with an adjustable strap.

Sized for Medium to Large heads.

Category & Suitable for use in cloudy conditions with virtually no direct sunlight eg blizzards and whiteouts 
2 18% - 43% visible light transmitted. Suitable for use as general sunglasses and in cloudy conditions in the mountains, but not in direct sunlight in mountain areas where there will be a lot of reflection off snow and ice.
3 8% - 18% visible light transmitted. Suitable for Alpine and Himalayan mountaineering for most uses, but for prolonged exposure at high altitude Category 4 is recommended.
4 3% - 8% visible light transmitted. For prolonged exposure at high altitude and especially if you have weak eyes. Will be found too dark for everyday use and should not be used for driving a car.

*Categories 3 and 4 are the only categories suitable for Alpine and Greater Ranges mountaineering.
