Handy lightweight very sharp climber's knife designed to be hung with a karabiner on the back of your harness for use in those emergency situations where literary fame (for your partner!) beckons. Petzl have revamped their Spatha knife to make it lighter and it also now has a locking blade.
Smooth/serrated combo blade easily cuts ropes and cord. Hole for attaching the knife to the harness with a Caritool holder or a karabiner. Notch in the blade for opening the knife with bare hands. Textured wheel for opening the blade when wearing gloves. Press button system locks the blade in the open position. Stainless steel blade for improved durability.
Ideal for cutting tape for Abalakov Threads.

Blade length is 8.3cm (NB this is 3ΒΌ" and longer than the 3" for a general pocket knife allowed by UK law and it is also illegal to carry a locking knife in a public place in the UK without good reason - one needs a special purpose to carry this knife such as mountaineering or sailing).
