A guidebook for experienced skiers covering off piste descents around the Mont Blanc massif - the Chamonix valley, Courmayeur and Les Contamines. Many are reached from the piste lift system and for these downhill skis are sufficient, but others require ski mountaineering gear.
Over 100 routes plus variations are described and each route is marked on one or more colour photos and includes essential information such as access, vertical drop, orientation, technical difficulty, commitment level, best time of year, hazards, route description, and whether extra off-piste or glacier off-piste kit is necessary. The routes are graded from 1 - 5 for difficulty.
