The Tour du Mont Blanc (or Tour of Mont Blanc) is an eleven day or so walking tour around the 105 mile circumference of the entire Mont Blanc Range. It is very popular and famed for its magnificent scenery. A well-serviced introduction to high-level mountain trekking for walkers with good levels of fitness, it can also be run or fastpacked in as little as five days.
To add confusion for the indecisive, the tour is described in both directions and gives details of the natural and cultural history of the region. There are also routes around Courmayeur and Arnuva and to Lac Blanc, as well as other interesting diversions off the normal TMB.
