Guide to the extensive bouldering to be found in the Valchiavenna, Val Malenco, Bassa and Alta Valle area in northern Italy, between the great lakes and the alps and describing an upturned arc around Val di Mello (not covered in this guide as it has its own guide). The area is pretty unique in having a wide variety of rock types, including both granite and limestone and, due to its location, is an ideal spring, autumn and even winter venue.
