Volume 2 (of 2 volumes) of a selected guide to Scottish rock climbing by well known local on the the scene, Gary Latter. Covers the Isle of Skye, Applecross, Torridon, Gairloch, Coigach and Assynt, Sutherland, Caithness, Lewis and Harris, Pabbay and Mingulay, Orkney.

Some 2,550 routes are described, which is good but makes the guide a rather bulky object to haul up multi-pitch climbs. Although there is a good smattering of Diffs and the like, it is probable that this guide will appeal more to those climbing at VS and above, and for the hard climber, many of Scotland's E numbered test pieces are here.

It includes several significant recently-discovered venues such as 'Supercrag Sport' (Loch Maree Sport) and 'Supercrag Trad' (Creag Rodha Mor), along with a host of mainly easier additions at the superlative Diabaig. On the islands, many recent additions on the popular Skye sea cliffs of Suidhe Biorach, Neist and the recently-cleaned Staffin Slip South have been included. Similarly, the abundance of superb rock on Lewis, Pabbay and Mingulay has been well documented, with many new topos illustrating the wealth of wonderful climbing throughout a range of grades. Many minor and less popular crags have been replaced, freeing up space to include over 300 new routes, 40 new topos and more than 50 additional action photos.

Excellent photo-topos and stunning action photos throughout.
