A guide to Portugal covering a superb looking selection of inland crags, seacliffs and bouldering venues. Fourten different areas are covered from the north to the south and most routes are bolted though there are some trad climbs (look out for the HVS grade!). While much of the climbing is in the typical regular sport climber's 6c and above grades, there is sufficient for the trad climbing brit on holiday to tackle too.

From infinite granite chaos, domes and walls in the north, to central limestone crags, random basalt splitters, quartzite, the renowned Sintra's bouldering, coastal routes around the capital and down south; there is space for everyone, whether you are seeking remote trad adventures, boulders, deep water soloing or hard sport routes.

Illustrated with a mixture of photo and drawn topos and with plenty of good action shots.
