More than 250 multi-pitch routes up to 800m in length are described in this guide, centred on Brig in southern Switzerland. The area covered includes the Zermatt valley, which is as far west as it goes, and extends to the Furkapass in the east.
Crags/areas covered include: Goms, Aletsch-Brig, Simplon, Visp, Saastal, Mattertal, Raron-Siders.
Presented here is an incredibly diverse climbing landscape situated in the middle of the highest mountains of Switzerland - however, this is a rock climbing guide and does not describe alpine routes, though some alpine skills may be needed to reach and descend from some of them.
Good maps, lots of black and white photodiagrams and a good selection of colour action shots.
