Ultramaps are waterproof maps at 1:40,000 scale that are very light and low bulk and fold down to only 152mm to 73mm - two-thirds the folded size of a conventional map. This is achieved by using a very light XT40 polythene sheet and printing on both sides.
This one covers the Eastern Lake District from the A66 in the north, south to Coniston and Windermere and shows 82 "Wainwrights" including Helvellyn and High Street. It is one of a set of four maps that covers the whole Lake District.
