Ultramaps are waterproof maps at 1:40,000 scale that are very light and low bulk and fold down to only 152mm to 73mm - two-thirds the folded size of a conventional map. This is achieved by using a very light XT40 polythene sheet and printing on both sides.
This one covers the South-Eastern Lake District from Ambleside, and Coniston to Kendal and Newby Bridge and includes Windermere, Coniston Water and the Grizedale Forest. It is one of a set of four maps that covers the whole Lake District.
