An updated version of the MSR XGK2 which has been probably the best expedition stove in the world for many years, particularly where one is having to burn strange fuels such as A1 Jet (basically kerosene).
Like its predecessor, the XGK EX boasts unrivalled performance, dependably burning a greater variety of liquid fuels (petrol, paraffin, and diesel) more reliably than any stove on the market. However, it cannot be used with gas canisters.
It also features a new flexible fuel line that allows it to pack down smaller than ever, as well as retractable legs and large pot supports for superior stability.
It is easy to maintain in the field as the Shaker Jet cleans the fuel jet with a simple shake, and like the XGK2 it has a thick cable running the length of the fuel line that acts as a pipe cleaner.
Fits inside the MSR 1.5 litre pot.
Please note that the fuel bottle is not included and must be chosen according to size required and purchased separately. However the price does include windshield, heat reflector, pump and storage bag.
