Designed by Hans Florine, Speed Stirrups are designed for speed jumaring and cleaning while aid climbing. They work by clipping into your highest piece of gear and pulling the loose end of the tape through the ratchet to adjust the height of the step.
The simple clean design dramatically reduces the bulk of traditional etriers. The supportive 3" (8cm) wide steps are made of 33oz. vinyl haul bag material and have a built in keeper strap to keep your foot in place.
Speed Stirrups were not originally designed as an adjustable etrier but can be used as such.
Made in two colours, the Red Speed Stirrup is labelled Right.
