However, though quick to place, a standard cable Rivet Hanger will not cinch over the head when weighted, which can be a problem when getting high on the top steps of your etrier as it could pop off due to the outward force you start creating when the rivet is below waist height.
A cinch (or butterfly) Rivet negates this problem as once weighted the cable will cinch up against the head.
Moses' other hangers also negate this when a krab is attached, locking the hanger in place, the problem with these are they are tricky to place over a head when the distance between the heads are quite far apart. Often when a rivet ladder is made the first ascensionist would make these distances tricky for future parties, otherwise they could just have made a bolt ladder.
