Superb single stemmed devices with reverse cam strength. All are double axled which means they have a greater range than any comparable single axle camming unit, albeit at some cost in extra weight - though this new version has reduced this factor. The 0.3 equates approximately with a Friend ½ but goes down almost to a Friend 0 in size. 0.4 is about Friend 0.75 size and Camalot 0.75 is about the same as a Friend 1.5. Size 2 is approximately equivalent to a Friend 2.5/3.

One point that is often raised is why do Camalots still have nylon tape rather than Dyneema? Black Diamond say that nylon is longer lasting and harder wearing than Dyneema so that the slings on these devices will last many years without replacement.
