Ingenious! Spiroll® Rope Protectors are designed for setting up top rope anchors with static rope. With ropes in place, simply wrap the flexible plastic protector around the rope and slide into position. That's all there is to it! Superior rope protection in a flash and no tying off necessary (designed for ropes greater in diameter than 9.5mm but will should work with smaller diameters though might not stay in position so well). Dirt is kept out and the bright orange color improves visibility to those walking (and potentially tripping) over rope lines. Ideal for instructional us as they can be left in place on the rope when it is coiled.
Can also be chopped into sections and used to protect icescrews from damage in transit and clothing from damage by icescrews. Can even by placed on a rope ahead of a iceclimber to help stop them damaging the rope with their tools!
Each Spiroll is 2 feet (60cm) long and weighs only 50g.
