A crampon designed for all aspects of mountaineering from the high Himalaya to roadside water ice. Choice of Full or Semi Step-In binding. Similar to the Grivel G12 and quite a lot lighter than the Cyborg.
Horizontal frontpoints provide stability in snow yet penetrate alpine and water ice and hold rock edges securely. Secondary points create a stable platform with shear resistance for control in mushy conditions while serrated sub-points grab and hold when you're rocking over your feet.
An articulated centre bar and micro adjustment on the heel lever heel lever give a good fit on most technical boots from size UK3½ to size UK10½. Boots size 11 and above may require long bars.
Anti-balling plates included.
Fit only to a B3 Mountaineering Boot or B2 Winter Walking Boot.
BD have reduced the weight of this crampon quite significantly by removing the bail strap and shortening the front section. Previously c 1172g/pair, now 910g/pair!
