This version has no karabiners so that you can add your own. NB - if using wiregate krabs it is best to clip them to a loop of cord tied through a suitable hole in your axe as if clipped directly into the axe they can unclip themselves.
Would probably benefit from the addition of Petzl XS String to hold the karabiners and stop them rotating.
At the central clip in point there is no krab but the loop is longer so that it can be lark's footed (threaded through itself) or you can put your own krab through it*.
The extra clip in points half way along the length are in case you fall and are left suspended. The theory is that you will not be able to reach your axe but you can clip a sling in half way and stand in it so you can pull up to get it - a bit of an oooerr... moment to say the least! The unscrupulous may also clip into them for a sly rest.
