Sliding rest designed for Petzl Sum'Tec, Ride, Glacier, Literide, Summit and Gully Axes but which would probably fit on many other axes of various makes as long as they had shafts of the correct size. It can be used as a lower hand rest by tightening it up fully (may need padding out with a bit of old inner tube). Despite the name, it is not actually a Trigger.
Designed to fit on semi-oval shafts 30mm x 20mm and to slide up or down when the small trigger cam is released so that the axe converts from technical (rest at base of shaft so that the axe can be used leashless) to mountaineering mode (rest at top of shaft so that the axe can be used shaft first). Will fit on slightly larger shafts but probably will not slide.
By tightening or loosening a bolt a slightly different fit is achieved.
