A three part trekking/ski-touring pole that has a retractable blade in the handle and functions as an ice axe for emergency arrest when this is extracted and locked into place.
Suitable for ice axe arrest and daggering easier alpine climbs and ideal for ski-touring in areas where a fall could result in a potentially serious slide as the blade can be extended or retracted in seconds. It comes with a 75mm snow basket.
It has a very easy to use with gloves on locking system for the top joint and a spring button lock for the bottom joint (3 part pole only).
