An extreme tool for demanding mixed routes and ice. The exceptionally ergonomic handle enables accurate placement and effective penetration of ice and latching onto rock. The axe’s handle can be adjusted for smaller hands or thin gloves by installing the included spacer and TPR material ensures good grip both on the top and bottom grips. The Mixed Blade has more teeth and profile on the head for underhand grips and for blocking in cracks, and features increased material thickness for good torsional strength and more sharpening cycles versus the Ice Blade. The steel spike is designed to be particularly robust and load-bearing (6 kN).
- Aggressively curved shaft provides additional clearance, while the balanced construction ensures accurate placement and penetration.
- Modular construction can be adapted to suit all uses and conditions.
- Ergonomically-shaped handle with finger hole for a secure grip when swinging.
- Accelerator that can be optionally mounted on the pick to increase impact force.
- Matching waterfall ice pick made of hardened steel with minimal blasting effect optionally available.
