A totally overhauled jamming glove, the Wide Boyz Master Jam Crack Glove has resulted from years of feedback to create a glove that feels like a second skin while still providing that “bomber” skin protection.
It uses a new stickier rubber compound with strategically reduced thickness in non-essential areas, and by mixing in a high-friction thinner material, the glove feels incredibly dexterous on the hand. The result is a glove that jams into more difficult cracks with ease without sacrificing grip or protection. It also features a completely redesigned shape that follows the natural contours of your hand and which moves with your hand when transitioning through different jamming techniques. The finger-loop construction is the same, but the width of the loops has been increased to eliminate pinching on long sessions. The fit of the thumb loop has also been refined whilst still providing vital protection and friction for fist, teacup and stacked jams. In addition the eyelet has been strengthened, the rubber-to-material bonding improved and much stitching eliminated so that there are less wear points. The palm remains free, and material between the fingers kept to an absolute minimum. This ensures you have normal hand-to-rock friction on face holds and prevents that “baggy” feeling when you’re out of the crack.
