Fiendishly uncomfortable and bizarre looking creations in shiny black Pertex and fluffy black pile, these underpants are the most purchased stag-do present in the shop.
Waist size M roughly equates to 32 inches (80cm), but hell, who cares, I mean are you really going to wear them?!
Well actually one of our customers does. He writes "First worn on a moderate Fell walk of 10 miles in the Lake district, light wind, temperature around 0 to -3 degrees C throughout. Worn under ME Superfleece Salopettes. Initial thoughts that the pile lined posing pouch front would lead to a case of terminal betty-swollocks proved to be completely unfounded in the face of a reasonable amount of perspiration inducing climbing. The rear part of the garment though - a kind of Spartacus-esqueâ„¢ pertex hanky, proved initially less than satisfactory as the breeze through my vented outer garment made this feel fairly wet and cold whilst climbing, However once zipped up against the breeze this became hardly noticeable and even after several hours walking the garment felt dry and comfortable. As an item you are only going to wear under other layers in colder weather (?) they work pretty well and are streets ahead of cotton Calvins. If this is the intended use then one does feel that a fuller rear panel with some strategically placed pile lining would be welcome for sitting/ leaning on cold rocks at a belay or lunch stop and perhaps enhance the dissipation of that under rucksack dampness that inevitably descends into your pants. Note on sizing - as a shade under a 36 inch waist, the large is not snug on me, but as they are already hipsters I wouldn't want to risk a smaller size and will just shorten the waistband. 3.5 out of 5."
