The Scarpa Crux 2 is a classic, low volume approach shoe that makes you want to get out on the rock. It has good lateral stiffness so that it will not twist much when edging and a reasonably cleated sole unit which should prevent you slipping on muddy ground. The sole also has a smooth section on the inside and toe making them suitable for scrambling, via ferrata and easy rock climbs. At the same time it is lightweight, comfortable and slim fitting.
Already a firm favourite of Needle Sports staff, the Crux is light, stiff and comfortable enough for on the hill or around town duties.
